The Architect in Training position is a full-time, permanent position in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Overall Responsibilities:

Prepare and modify architectural documents at the direction of the project manager and or principal, ensuring alignment with design intent and MSA standards.

– Develop solutions to technical and design problems

– Integrate sustainable design solutions into projects

– Prepares 2D and 3D design materials for client/project team review

– Performs product research; assists project designers and project architects with material selection and system research

– Fosters a commitment to design excellence and client service

– Prepares plans, models, details, and specifications

Minimum Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited Architecture program

– 1+ years of experience in an architecture firm (preferred)

– Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp

– Desire to learn, accept direction, and be mentored

– Strong time management, prioritization, and organization skills

– Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

– Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of an effective team

– Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign preferred

– Possession of a valid Driver’s License and clear DMV Report

The Associate Architect / Project Manager position is a full-time, permanent position in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Overall Responsibilities:

– Leading various projects, both large and small

– Work both independently and in a team atmosphere

– Responsible for construction administration duties, such as site visits, RFI response, submittals, and punch lists

– Responsible for preparing reports and specifications

– Develop project estimates, code analysis, and be able to review and Q/C plans

– Responsible for development and following project budgets and schedules

– Work with principals to develop conceptual designs, lead project development, and the development of construction documents

– Provide leadership and direction to Junior staff in the development of projects

– Contribute to design solutions that balance various aspects of the project

– Interact with clients as required by the project

– Present concepts and ideas to different stakeholders

Minimum Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited Architecture program

– Must be licensed in a state within the United States of America with the ability to get a State of Idaho Architecture License

– NCARB license preferred but no required

– 3+ years of experience in an architecture firm

– Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp
